Day 6

Wednesday, June 30th:
Today... we drove. Not much other than the view from the car windows, thats where the pictures are from. We played the license plate game, watched 2 movies, and uh...ya ... thats just about it. lol!
Oh, I was excited because we went through De Moines, Iowa and that is where Shawn Johnson lives! LOL!

States we were in: Missouri, Iowa, and Minnesota

Miles: just over 600

  1. Amy,
I'm still following you and loving it! Don't you just love all those big fluffy clouds? I'm very impressed with the photo of Karl Malone and your dad. Do you think he'll blow it up and put it in his classroom? Right next to all his Cowboy junk--I mean stuff?? Who knew there would be famous people out where there are "cute houses in big fields"? Thanks for bringing me on your road trip with you! I love, love, love the photos!

  2. How did you like the spam museum??? How big is Austin MN? I want to stop there in a couple of weeks when we go to MN. Sometimes when you are driving in the mid west, it seems like miles and miles of miles and miles, but it is truly a different beauty than where you live or where we live, isn't it? I am so happy you are having a wonderful vacation and am happy to be sharing it with you.

  5. Mrs. Surridge: Thanks! Yes, it is so pretty!

Mrs. Gilbert: Me too! Or somewhere like it. I will live just across the road and can babysit a lot! :D

Melee: It was very cool! It was so windy, that I would have guessed it was a river. The water was moving a lot!
